Charcoal Art Class - 2part Self Portrait MAY 30 JUNE 6

Final Class Project for students who have completed the beginner charcoal series. Students will create a charcoal sketch using the skills learned throughout the session : blocking in, proportions, value & contrast etc. They will then create an underpainting and finally adding paint to create a one of kind self portrait. <br><br>May 30th & June 6th <br>10:00-12:00<br>Studio: 284 Lane Road, New Sharon

Hi Everyone! <br>As a thank you for your support here is a free download of a mini lesson. Samples include art work by Grandma Moses & other folk artists, sample lesson plans from other schools/art teachers, and websites to visit that have related/interesting material including a read aloud book. All images were chosen to go with the Holiday/Winter season for easy integration into your current studies. Enjoy!<br><br>All material should be reviewed by parents & shared at their own discretion.<br>All copyrights/credits stay with original owners.

Private Birthday Party

Please read carefully before booking! To reserve a specific date you MUST contact Dope Soul Studio in advance. casey@dopesoulart.com. A guest list with correct spelling of names must be provided when ordering custom apron favors at least 2 weeks in advance of party date.<br><br>LET'S CREATE & CELEBRATE!<br>Custom birthday party booking includes use of Dope Soul Studio 1-3 hours, an art lesson taught by Miss Casey, and all the materials. Each guest will go home with a custom piece of art that they made themselves. <br><br>Party/class fee includes up to 6 painters. Additional painters can be added up to a total of 10. Max number of studio guests: 20.<br><br>Guests are welcome to enjoy cake/snack/water in the studio. We ask that no beverages that are sticky/staining be brought in and no alcoholic beverages please. <br><br>Guests are welcome to bring their own decor or can request a basic party set up. The studio provides an art theme photo backdrop for guests to use. Please do not use items that require tacks or could cause permanent damage to the studio. Thank you!<br><br>We want your special day to be creative and fun, please let us know if there is anything we can do for you or any special requests!
