In 2024-25 Dope Soul Studio created and ran a pilot program for young entrepreneurs called The Liberty Project. The purpose was to give young creatives a chance to work in a studio setting and learn skills and concepts that will encourage and support entrepreneurship. I would love to extend the opportunity to my younger friends to join a "Mini Makers Club". The concepts and the skills taught will remain the same (age appropriate) but rather than creating a 'business plan' we will be working towards creating their own quality handmade items. Participants in this session will be taught foundational sewing skills geared towards beginner clothing design.

Recommendation for age is 7-10 years old but students who are interested and have spent time in the studio will be considered on a case by case basis. Mini Makers Club "CLOTHING DESIGN" will run for a total of 3 classes: every Tuesday September 15-29th 10am-11:30am. Club Fee is $90.00 for 3weeks which covers all materials needed to create projects.
